Baby Jordan is enrolled in Daycare!

We crossed one big thing off the list this weekend - We found a daycare for Baby Jordan! Jason dropped off a check to officially enroll our baby this morning :)

I won't say which daycare, in case some wacko finds this blog - but we went to an open house at a daycare just outside our neighborhood this weekend. We really liked it. All the main instructors are required to have a bachelor's degree. They teach baby sign language (like saying "more" and "food" in sign language so that the baby can learn to communicate before they can even speak). They also teach a bit of Spanish, and even do yoga with the older infants and all the toddlers (how cute is that?). They only take 8 infants at a time, and devote two teachers to the infant classroom. That's a great thing for our baby, but also points to why there's typically a long wait list to get into daycares for infants! Most daycares book up a year in advance. We got lucky since the daycare is still a little new.

We're starting our 12th week tomorrow. I'll post the typical update then!
